“Praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they were made: he commanded, and they were created.”
On this verse:
“Then when he had called upon all things that are in the heavens to praise God, he states the reason why they ought to praise him with hymns, and says: For he spake and they were made; he commanded and they were created. He hath also established them for ever and ever; he hath made a decree which shall not pass away.”
