Of the Father in Solomon: My son, do not neglect the discipline of God, nor grow weary when you are rebuked by Him (Prov. 3:11). Of the Son in Psalm seventeen (Vers. 36): Your right hand has received me, and Your discipline itself will teach me, and Your doctrine will guide me to the end. Of the Holy Spirit in Solomon: For the Spirit of discipline will flee deceit, and will remove itself from thoughts that are without understanding (Wis. 1:5).”
