On this verse:
“Feast. Those who repine at their condition are miserable; while the poor may be delivered from many cares. (Calmet) — —– O vitæ tuta facultas Pauperis angustique laris. (Luc. Phar. v.) — Under affliction every thing displeases; but all delights the cheerful temper.”
