“Set ye up a standard in the land: sound with the trumpet among the nations: prepare the nations against her: call together against her the kings of Ararat, Menni, and Ascenez: number Taphsar against her, bring the horse as the stinging locust.”

“prepare Heb. קַדְשוֹ. a marshal Heb. טפסר, an expression of an army [or an expression of a lord]. bristling Heb. סמר. (Herisse in French), covered with spikes. Cf. “It made the hair of my flesh stand up like spikes (תְּסַּמֵר)” (Job 4:15).”
