Lord, let thy hand be exalted, and let them not see: let the envious people see, and be confounded: and let fire devour thy enemies.

P. " They shall see, and be ashamed for their envy at the people ; yea, the fire of thine enemies shall devour them." 8L Jerome explains it of the people moved by seal. Others understand it of the seal of God for His people, which, like fire, is to consume the enemy. The sight of the Divine works in of the people shall cover the enemy with confusion.
