John Chrysostom, on 1Cor 15:16

John Chrysostom · A.D. 347–407
1Cor 15:16 · Douay-Rheims
“For if the dead rise not again, neither is Christ risen again.”
On this verse:
“And again he establishes it all, and takes it up again, saying, "For if the dead are not raised, neither hath Christ been raised." For had He not intended to do this, He would not have come into the world. And he names not this, but the end, to wit, His resurrection; through it drawing all things.”
