(Tirinus) — Hebrew, “they pushed forward, (repaired, Calmet; or ) paved, (Du Dieu) or fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.” (Protestants) — The Septuagint copies vary: some read, they placed, (restored) etheka . (Complutensian) But the Roman edition has, “they left.” (Du Hamel)”
