Thou hast been favourable to the nation, O Lord, thou hast been favourable to the nation: art thou glorified? thou hast removed all the ends of the earth far off.

This means that He enlarged their territory, by extending their limits. It corresponds to the pre- vious member. P. "Thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth." K. remarks that this is not the meaning. The sacred writer does not speak here of the removal of the people to Babylon.
