G. Ka.Tnx.uvx,^Ta,i iKio; Kpta-ice;. V. superexaltat autem misericordia judicium. Probably it may havebeen originally: " Super exultat." With thisreadingit might be rendered : " mercy exulteth over judgment." The meaning of the text seems to be, that the exercise of mercy towards our fellow-man prevails over the justice of God, provoked by our sins.
