Psalm 3:1
Douay-Rheims
The psalm of David when he fled from the face of his son Absalom.
Francis Patrick Kenrick
A Hebrew manuscript in the collection of Kennicott, the great English collator, is without this inscription, which, however, is found in most manuscripts. The Arabic and Chaldee versions, as well as the Septuagint, have it. The contents of the psalm suit the title.
