“For at the voice of the Lord the Assyrian shall fear being struck with the rod.”
On this verse:
“from the Lord’s voice Assyria shall be broken he opened up their ears, and they heard the song from the mouth of the Chayoth, and they died. In the Aggadah of Chapter Chelek. with a rod he would smite Assyria, who was wont to smite you with his rod.”
