“And I came to the governors of the country beyond the river, and gave them the king’s letters. And the king had sent with me captains of soldiers, and horsemen.”
On this verse:
“and I gave them the king’s letters in order that they escort me in peace. officers of the army and horsemen the king sent with me [officers] in my honor, in order that I go in peace.”
