Radak

Rabbi David Kimhi of Narbonne — known by the acronym Radak — was the foremost Hebrew grammarian and lexicographer of the Middle Ages, and a lucid commentator on the Prophets and the Psalms. His grammar, the Mikhlol, and his dictionary of biblical roots, the Sefer ha-Shorashim, became the standard reference works for the study of Hebrew. Through them his influence reached far beyond the synagogue: Christian Hebraists of the Renaissance leaned on him, and the translators of the King James Bible favoured his readings above those of any other Jewish commentator.
