The confession of faith produced by the Westminster Assembly of Divines and completed in 1646; a doctrinal standard of Presbyterian and Reformed churches. Its eleventh chapter, “Of Justification,” teaches justification by the imputed obedience and satisfaction of Christ, received through faith.
